The best present

The best present

“The more healed you are, the clearer your channel for Spirit.”

Working in the spiritual industry means that I continually study and work on myself. I believe that my own spiritual and personal development is an important part of everything I do.

I work with Reiki, Tarot, NLP Life Coaching and House Blessings, and I am very particular about the way I work and the practices I use. I want both the students I teach and the clients I work with to receive the very best experience I can give them.

My own development is therefore a consistent, regular practice. It involves reading, watching lectures and videos, talking to other practitioners and, perhaps most importantly, continuing to look within and do my own healing.

I have spent many years working on myself through different therapies and spiritual modalities. But until this year, there was still one area where I felt I had more work to do.

My inner child.

I had done an enormous amount of healing, but there were still situations where I could feel myself being triggered. I knew there was something deeper that needed to be explored, understood and released.

One of my students and friend, Millie, suggested that I try a healing modality called Cellular Resonance. For several months I resisted taking that step. I wasn't sure how it worked and, as someone who likes to understand things, I had a lot of questions.

Then I attended a spiritual event run by Millie.

Something inside me simply said, “It's time.”

I immediately enquired about Cellular Resonance and signed up for a ten week course with Anusha Pillay.

Anusha is a very special lady with incredible spiritual insight. She is exceptionally intuitive and so adept at what she does.

At first, I couldn't quite see how it was working.

But as the weeks passed and the first month unfolded, I began to notice something changing within me.

I felt calmer.

I felt different.

I could find myself becoming upset in a situation, but rather than reacting in the way I might have done previously, I could observe what was happening within me without becoming consumed by it.

Anusha challenged my thinking and some of my deeply held beliefs. There were times when I found it difficult to see what she was saying, but she was incredibly patient and empathic.

As I trusted her more and more, I began to understand what she was showing me. I could start to unpack what was underneath my reactions and, importantly, begin to move forward.

The changes weren't just something I noticed myself. My husband and family began to notice them too.

During and after the sessions, deeper emotional pain would sometimes come to the surface. I would then spend time reflecting and journalling about what had arisen.

For me, this became an essential part of the process.

The sessions were one part of the journey, but the reflection, awareness and integration afterwards allowed me to really sit with what I had discovered and understand it on a deeper level.

With every step, I felt myself moving towards a more peaceful, more aligned version of myself.

When I completed the tenth session, I knew there was still more that needed to be unpacked, released and forgiven.

So I chose to continue for another ten sessions.

Five months later, I have reached the end of this particular chapter of my healing journey.

When I look back at the highs and the lows, I feel deeply emotional about what this journey has brought me.

Because something changed within me.

And when we change internally, our relationships can change too.

I noticed shifts in the way I responded to people, the way I viewed situations and the way I felt within myself. I genuinely feel like a new, more peaceful and more authentic version of me.

When I reflect on the journey, I feel an enormous sense of gratitude.

Gratitude for the lessons.

Gratitude for the challenges.

Gratitude for the people who guided me.

And gratitude for having the courage to keep looking within, even when what I found wasn't always comfortable.

The more healed we become, the more we are able to come from a place of love rather than fear, reaction or old patterns.

And for someone who works with Spirit, I believe that doing my own healing is one of the greatest responsibilities I have.

It isn't about becoming perfect.

It is about becoming clearer.

Clearer within myself.

Clearer in my intentions.

Clearer in the way I hold space for others.

And clearer in my connection with Spirit.

If I am really honest with myself, Cellular Resonance is the best present I have ever received.

Period.

And perhaps the greatest gift of all is not what I received from the healing, but who I have become because of it.
